Overview of Dr. Vanison
I am a Head & Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgeon at Stony Brook University. I completed my Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, and then went on to complete an advanced Head & Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction fellowship at the University of California, Davis. I have particular surgical and research interests in advanced cutaneous malignancies of the head & neck. I am trained to perform the entire gamut of head & neck cancer surgery including advanced endocrine surgery, endoscopic and open skull base surgery, trans-oral robotic surgery (TORS) and microvascular free tissue transfer and regional flap reconstruction.
