Summary
- I am currently the chief of pediatric otolaryngology at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital in Fairfax, VA. I completed my residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. I also completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Nemours Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. I am board-certified to practice general otolaryngology as well as complex pediatric otolaryngology, the latter of which required a separate exam beyond the normal board exam.
I am experienced in all facets of pediatric otolaryngology, but I have a keen interest in hearing restoration surgery, such as cochlear implantation and bone-anchored hearing solutions, and endoscopic airway surgery. I am also a member of the craniofacial team, dealing with children with cleft lip/palate and other craniofacial abnormalities.
When not working, I enjoy time with my wife and two daughters. I remain an aspiring chef, although my skills are utilized more to prepare spaghetti and burgers than haute cuisine nowadays. I am also (for better or worse) an avid New York sports fan, cheering with varying degrees of gusto the Yankees and Jets.
