Summary
- I was the Physician-in-Chief of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Roseville for 13 years, retiring in 2019. I was responsible for the outpatient and inpatient care provided to over 300,000 Kaiser Permanente members seeking care in Roseville, Folsom, and Lincoln. I provided leadership to and oversaw the outpatient operations of nine separate medical offices and outpatient care centers that deliver the full gamut of primary and specialty care. I was also responsible for the care the medical group delivers in the Kaiser Roseville Medical Center, which consists of a 166 bed community hospital and a physically separate 174 bed Women and Children's center on the same campus that provides advanced obstetrical and tertiary neonatal and pediatric care to patients in the Sacramento Valley. Women and Children's opened in January 2009 and has delivered over 5,000 babies since that time. I also was responsible for the operation of the Kaiser Folsom Ambulatory Surgery Unit, which provides outpatient surgical services for our members in the North Sacramento Valley. Roseville has nearly 300 physicians and well over 1,000 non-physician staff.
From 2014 to 2018, I was the Chair of the The Permanente Medical Group Board of Directors. TPMG is the largest medical group in the country providing outstanding care to over 4 million members.
Currently, I serve as board chair for Agape International missions and am pursuing a Masters degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.
