Following his Orthopedic Residency at Los Angeles County Harbor/UCLA Medical Center, he went on to complete a prestigious Spine Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Neubuerger is certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Neubuerger is currently the Chief of Spine Surgery at Mercy General Hospital. In 2023, Dr. Neubuerger received the Presidential Award for Patient Excellence from Sutter Hospital. Dr. Neubuerger is trained in the latest technology and is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society, North American Spine Society, and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
