After initially embarking on a career as an Art Director in advertising, Dr. Low
transitioned to medicine. He completed his Otolaryngology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and further honed his expertise through advanced fellowship training in rhinology and skull base surgery at Stanford University.
Dr. Low's clinical focus is on the comprehensive management of nasal and sinus
disorders, including nasal obstruction, rhinitis, nasal polyps, chronic rhinosinusitis, and paranasal sinus cancers. He also specializes in treating conditions affecting the anterior skull base, such as cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and collaborates closely with neurosurgical colleagues to perform endoscopic endonasal surgeries for pituitary gland tumors and other complex skull base tumors.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Low is committed to advancing the field of
otolaryngology through research. His primary research interests include optimizing outcomes for patients with chronic rhinosinusitis, enhancing surgical training methodologies, and reducing health disparities in sinus and skull base care. His research has been published in journals such as International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology, Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and The Laryngoscope. Dr. Low is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and the American Rhinologic Society (ARS).
