  • Dr. Hamilton is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in total joint reconstruction of the hips and knees. He specializes in musculoskeletal complaints related to arthritis, sports-related injuries, work-related injuries, and fractures. Dr. Hamilton received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Los Angeles. He completed his orthopedic residency at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina as well as Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. During his residency, Dr. Hamilton provided Physician Coverage, to Varsity Football at Columbus High School . As a supplement to his training, he completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction with Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Hamilton was awarded numerous awards and scholarships throughout his training. He was involved in several orthpaedic related research projects with his primary focus on bioengineering.

    Dr. Hamilton is certified in Mako Smart Robotics which enables him to perform advanced knee and hip procedures for patients suffering from joint pain. Additionally, Dr. Hamilton offers an innovative surgical technique known as Anterior Approach. With this technique, a hip replacement is done by working between muscles, rather than by cutting through muscles.

    Dr. Hamilton proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years and subsequently served as Fred G. Acosta Job Corps Resident Advisor while receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arizona, Tucson.

    Dr. Hamilton likes to create a professional but relaxed clinic atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and able to ask questions freely. He wants you to leave each visit confident and encouraged. His clinic approach is centered around each patient’s individual concerns and goals. He believes that clear communication, patient education, and patient participation are vital to the success of any treatment, whether operative or non-operative.
