Summary
- I attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, where I earned my medical degree in 2012. During medical school, I spent a year in Washington, D.C. at the National Institutes of Health conducting clinical research on head and neck cancer therapies.
After completing medical school, I moved to Chicago to enter residency training at Northwestern University in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, which I completed in 2017.
I moved back to California to pursue additional training in advanced sleep apnea surgery, completing a one-year fellowship at Stanford University. I started working at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara following this in 2018.
Improving sleep is a particular passion of mine. Snoring and obstructive sleep apnea are a major public health problem affecting more than 25% of the U.S. population. They have well documented health sequelae, as well as significant impact on patient and partner quality of life. There are now a variety of surgical and non-surgical treatments available to patients.
