Summary
- I am an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialized training in hand and upper extremity surgery.
I treat the majority of orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity by non-surgical means such as casts, braces, therapy, or cortisone injection. However, with some conditions, surgery is needed. With specialized training in hand and upper extremity surgery, I have the most up to date training in arthroscopic wrist and elbow surgery, endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery, and other minimally invasive and microsurgical techniques. I am certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, and board eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Bioengineering from University of California, San Diego
I obtained my medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. Following this, I completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. During this time I was awarded the Health Volunteers Overseas Traveling Fellowship (Peru) by the American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand. I also published multiple scientific articles and served as chief resident of the university’s orthopedic outreach clinic for the underserved.
I treat patients of all ages
