Christopher Ballantyne, MD, is a urologist based in Phoenix, AZ, specializing in minimally invasive surgery and stone disease. He graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2017 and completed his residency in urology at the University of Virginia Medical Center from 2019 to 2023, after a surgical residency there from 2017 to 2018. He is currently undertaking a fellowship in endourology at Mayo Clinic Arizona, where he has been employed as a urologist since 2023. His research has been published in several journals, focusing on topics like prostate surgery, renal mass treatment, erectile function, and the productivity of minority urologists in academics.
