Christine Marie (Evansic) Daecher DO

Summary

• I received my degree through LECOM at the main Erie, PA campus. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine. After completing residency training in 2006 through PCOM at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, I began practicing Internal Medicine in my private practice in Camp Hill, PA. Despite the difficulties of primary care, having a private practice was a joy. Due to changes brought on by the pandemic, I closed my practice in 2020, changed how I work with patients, took time to get certified in Functional Medicine, and moved south.
  
  I have worked in telemedicine with MDLIVE since 2019. My telemedicine work has included urgent care, wellness screenings, and chronic care. I most enjoy working with patients using lifestyle to manage weight and cardiometabolic conditions. In June 2024, I opened Savannah Functional Medicine, a virtual practice serving patients in GA, SC, and FL. Outside of my work, I enjoy inshore saltwater fishing, fitness, novels, books about health written for laypersons, spending time with friends, meditation, art, mushroom foraging, spending time with my husband, and gardening.
