Summary
- Christian Ryckeley is a resident working at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. He grew up in rural NC, and attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. In a gap year prior to medical school, he went to Peru where he was exposed to a developing country with limited resources and an underserved population. During his medical school education, he taught as a TA and instructor for various summer programs such as the Medical Education Development (MED) program, where he discovered his passion for education.
Emergency Medicine interests include Pediatrics, Education/Simulation and International Medicine. Will likely purse fellowship in either of those fields with aspirations to find the perfect blend of pediatrics and education in his future practice, with some adventure mixed in.
