Research History

  • PhD StudentI studied the relationship between spatial and cognitive signals in the primate posterior parietal cortex (PPC). The results of this work were published in Neuron and featured in the Chicago Tribune. Additionally, my dissertation won best PhD thesis in Computational Neuroscience for the year.2008 - 2012
  • Undergraduate ResearcherI was the founding developer on the "Archon" project, an open-source, flexible, intuitive content management system for archivists. The project was selected for the 2008 $100,000 Mellon Award for Technology Collaboration, and has resulted in the publication of several manuscripts and a book chapter.2004 - 2007
