  • A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Cheryl Moore, MD’s postgraduate training began with several years of service in the United States military, including a one-year internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a postgraduate year in the burn unit at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research. After being honorably discharged in 1994, Cheryl Moore, MD, went on to complete a pathology residency and cytopathology fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.

    Since completing her postgraduate training, Dr. Cheryl Moore has held key positions with a range of health care institutions, including working as a pathologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, the medical director of York Hospital Laboratories in York, Maine, and a cytopathologist at Maine General Hospital in Augusta. Currently, she serves as a pathologist and cytopathologist with Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire.

    An active member of the field, Dr. Cheryl Moore holds memberships in professional organizations such as the American Society of Cytopathology and the American Society of Clinical Pathology. She is also a fellow in the College of American Pathology, and is pursuing her master’s degree in health law at Loyola University.
