Summary

• I began my Bobcat journey at Ohio University in 1990 and still continue to invest in OUHCOM as an Clinical Associate Professor in OMM at the Cleveland campus. This Cleveland Bobcat opened her own practice focusing on patient care with an osteopathic lens that encompasses integrative, functional and family medicine. I'm glad I love hats, because I wear many: President of my business (since 2007), Associate Professor (since 2008), Faculty in the ONMM3 program at CCF South Pointe Hospital (since 2005), Scout leader for Cubs and now Girl Scouts, HCOM OMS II OMM Liaison, Instructor of Record for OMS II OMM Honors elective course (since 2017), and the most rewarding hat is being a Mom to 2 adults and a tween. My current research entails investigating the best pedagogical methods to deliver osteopathic content to the next generation of osteopathic physicians. I am passionate about teaching anyone who embraces or rejects the tenets of osteopathic medicine. My mentor, Dr. Tony Chila once said "there were never supposed to be DOs, Cheryl". I welcome allopathic physicians to train and learn the science and art of osteopathic manipulation.
