Summary

  • Cherie Q. Marfori, MD, FACOG, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified gynecological surgeon who specializes in benign reproductive surgery utilizing minimally invasive techniques. She was recruited to Inova Health System as the Section Chief of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in 2021 after serving as the Medical and Fellowship Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgery at George Washington University, where she practiced for 15 years.

Dr. Marfori enjoys taking care of patients with problems across the gynecologic spectrum and specializes in restorative surgery for fibroids, endometriosis, Asherman’s syndrome, infertility, Muellerian anomalies, gender dysphoria and uterine prolapse.
