Summary

• Charles Pollard was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Millwood High School where he graduated in 1990. Just after graduation Mr. Pollard enlisted in the Marine Corps where he served in the Gulf War. Upon returning, he enrolled in the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) and received a Bachelor of Science degree. After his tenure at UCO, Charles found his passion in medicine. Mr. Pollard reenlisted in the Air National Guard, and obtained his certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. While in the Air Force, he pursued an opportunity to challenge the Oklahoma Nursing Board and was successfully awarded a nursing certification and ultimately received his BSN Degree. During his career as a nurse, he took on many challenges earning him the respect of becoming the consummate professional. Mr. Pollard furthered his education and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Pollard has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. He graduated from Frontier Nursing University and continued working at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital as a Vascular Surgical Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Pollard has extensive experience with chronic care management, infection control, family medicine, and vascular medicine. He is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received his certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as a member of the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners. His ultimate practice goals are to provide quality affordable medical services to those that may not otherwise have adequate access to healthcare.
