Overview of Dr. Mack
Dr. Charles Mack is Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is Vice-Chairman, Quality and Patient Safety in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is also of Chair, Tri-Campus Quality and Patient Safety (Weill Cornell, NewYork Presbyterian Queens and NewYork Brooklyn Methodist). He is Associate Program Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency - Cardiac Track. In addition, he serves as the Director of Cardiovascular Services at NewYork Presbyterian Queens and Director of the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and has been in practice 24 years. He specializes in adult cardiac surgery and cardiovascular surgery, valvular surgery, and heart failure surgery /ECMO. He has a special interest in Quality and Cardiac Surgery. He has more than 60 publications and over 500 citings.
