Summary
- I am an adolescent medicine physician and assistant professor in the Division of Primary Care Pediatrics. I received my MD degree at Emory and completed my pediatrics residency at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Duke, I was at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for an adolescent medicine and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Fellowships. I see patients adolescent and young adult patients for primary and specialty adolescent care. I conduct health services research at the Duke Clinical Research Institute and Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy in the areas of the consumer experience with accessing health, the impact of health policy on youth, and innovative strategies that leverage behavioral economics and technology to improve youth health and well-being.
