Chanelle Calhoun, MD, is a pediatrician based in Oceanside, CA, with a subspecialty in Adolescent Medicine. She completed her B.S. in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine from 1980 to 1984, then went on to study at Yale School of Medicine, Department of Public Health, earning her Master in Public focusing on Health Services Administration. After completing a summer internship at the CDC and then working at the Massachusetts Department of Health, she entered the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and graduated in 1991. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles from 1991 to 1994. Dr. Calhoun was recognized by the Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition Program from the National Committee for Quality Assurance in 2012-2013 and 2023.
