Summary

  • CRNA since 2010 with extensive clinical and academic experience in military and civilian environments. Doctor of Nursing Practice since 2015 with a focus in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting with ear acupuncture. One of only a handful of CRNAs in the United States qualified to administer medical acupuncture. Prior to retirement in 2022 from the US Navy, served full-time as Associate Professor for Uniformed Services University, teaching doctoral-level future CRNAs. In both Colorado Springs and Pueblo, CO, currently provides anesthesia for Peak Gastroenterology, general/regional anesthesia at UCHealth operating rooms, and provides academic support as adjunct faculty with Rosalind Franklin University.
