- Dr. Cesar Augusto Dias, MD, FACEP, is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician in Fort Worth, Texas and has been in practice for 19 years. Dr. Dias is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of emergency medicine at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine. He also serves as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.
Dr. Dias received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from TCU in 2001. He then obtained his doctor of medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in 2005. Following medical school, he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso. He also served part-time as a Clinical Assistant Professor of emergency medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine for almost 16 years.
In addition to speaking Spanish, he has also lived in Peru and Canada. Interests include medical student and resident education, sepsis, and trauma.
