- I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, trained at CHMC in Boston, previously affiliated with HMS, MGH and Mclean Hospital, and The Family Institute of Cambridge.
I speak and consult on a wide range of topics, including social and emotional intelligence, DEIJB leadership education, mental health and wellbeing, strengthening school culture, nourishing healthy relationships in the digital age, and developing a thoughtful approach to technology for children, parents and educators. I am the author of a WSJ Top Non Fiction book The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age.
While getting my doctorate at Harvard, I began my career as a school psychologist and researcher while working at Phillips Academy Andover. Since then, I have consulted worldwide to over 600 independent and public schools and spoken at conferences on a wide range of topics including social and emotional intelligence, DEIJB, leadership education, girl’s development, and best practices for technology at home, schools and work.
My audiences are students, educators, parent organizations, health professionals, corporations, family offices, non-profit organizations, government leaders and NGO’s. I am on the Board of The Hamlin School/CA and Advisory Board of Challenge Success/Stanford, and serve as a resource to the media.
I have a private practice where I work with young adults, couples, parents and families..
