Summary

I joined Atrium Health and the Head & Neck Surgery team at Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2018. I specialize in head and neck surgical oncology, microvascular reconstruction, and transoral robotic surgery. I manage benign and malignant head and neck lesions of the oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx, thyroid, parathyroid, salivary glands, skin and soft tissue.

I also have an interest in Biomedical Ethics and Medical Humanities. I graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a B.A. in English Literature. I attended Albany Medical College, where I earned a Distinction in Biomedical Ethics, the Vosburgh Scholarship for Excellence in Bioethics, and an award from the American Medical Association for my contribution on the ethics of surgical innovation.

During my surgical training, I was granted a leadership scholarship by the American College of Surgeons, as well as the John Hunter award for outstanding technical skills and the David J. Kreis, Jr. award for performance in the field of trauma surgery.

I am an active member in the following academic societies: The American Head and Neck Society, the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
