Summary

I am a board certified internist with a masters degree in Geology and a background in the natural sciences, education and the military. I was an active duty physician in the USAF with experience as a clinic manager. During deployments, I also worked in a combat ICU and cared for patients in the austere environment of a humanitarian mission. Since leaving the USAF, I have been employed as a hospitalist and a primary care physician for home bound patients. In both of these post-military experiences, I have continued to encounter patients with multiple, complex disease processes. Currently, I am living in San Diego, CA and working part-time as a Fee-Based Provider at San Diego MEPS, and as a Locum Tenens Physician for NextLocums, providing veterans with compensation and pension examinations. Additionally, I volunteer with the American Red Cross as an Internal Medicine Physician practicing at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
