Summary

• I am a board certified Ob/Gyn with specialty training in reproductive infectious diseases and public health. I have clinical expertise in caring for Women Veterans including providing trauma informed care. My programmatic work focuses on health care delivery to Women Veterans at local, regional and national levels. I run the VAPS Gynecology Specialty Service that provides direct complex gyn outpatient, inpatient and surgical care with MIGS expertise including robotics and collaborates with our primary care colleagues as part of comprehensive womens' care available at the VA. Clinical services are available in Seattle and Tacoma directly, and via community care contracts in other communities. Our service also provides leadership in research with current projects including best practices for provision of contraception on demand, reproductive life planning patient centered novel tools, and factors associated with fibroid diagnosis and management. We educate Ob/Gyn residents and are part of the Department of Ob/Gyn at University of Washington.
