Summary
- I have more than ten years of clinical/research experience in neurology and three years, particularly, in epilepsy/EEG. I completed a two years Postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University, Canadian Institutes of Health Research-funded. My projects focused on SEEG (depth electrodes) in the combination of MRI for better outcomes in epilepsy surgery. I worked with large databases and in a bicentric project with University of Grenoble, France. I published in other fields of neurology as well: movements disorders (gait patterns), cognitive disorders, neuro-ophthalmology and neuro-infectious diseases. I wrote one article for patients at the Epilepsy Foundation website with Dr Selim Benbadis. I enjoy team work and teaching.
Currently, I am training at State University of New York to get the American board certification for neurologists.
