Dr. Carol Weiss is an addiction psychiatrist based in New York, NY. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1983 and completed her residency and addiction fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell Campus). Currently, she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Psychiatry in Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She is the Medical Director at the Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Trauma and Addiction. Dr. Weiss has multiple publications, including topics on substance use disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, forensic evaluation, and women's mental health. She has been recognized with several honors, such as inclusion in New York Magazine's Best Doctor's List for over 20 years and receiving the Distinguished Physician Community Service Award from the Caron Foundation.
