Summary
- I am a specialist in Newborn infants (Neonatologist). I have been caring for sick newborn infants for the past 43 years. I consulted with High-Risk OB's (Maternal-Fetal-Medicine specialists) all the time. We plan in advance as much as possible to give the infant the best chance. Sometimes that is not always possible and we did the best that we can under the circumstances.
I am a Professor Emeritus at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in El Paso where I taught Neonatology for 32 years. I worked for for three years at William Beaumont Army Medical Center as Chief of Neonatology establishing their Level II Special Care Unit.
I was the Medical Director of the High Risk Clinic at the Children's Hospital of the Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, Texas(following NICU graduates) from 2017-March of 2021.
Presently I am retired and available as a Neonatal Consultant.
