Dr. Carl Vest is a family physician based in Elkins, AR. He completed his medical education at the University of Arkansas For Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 1996 and finished his residency at AHEC Fayetteville in 1999. Dr. Vest practiced rural health in NE Arkansas with heavy emphasis in obstetrics until 2013. He then got completely burnt out after 5 years of FM clinic only practice, only to be completely burnt out again after 7 years of putting up with private equity owned urgent care clinics.
Dr. Vest currently works for himself and does his best to avoid the modern medical industry model, and prides himself on putting patients first without being told not to by medical administrators.
