Summary

• I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. My focus has primarily been working with young and older adults.
  
  My career began with a job offer that I had accepted in an interview, but I had to wait until my high school diploma was officially issued to me to officially be hired.
  That was over 20 years ago, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

  Treatment is primarily geared towards the adult and geriatric population with focused diagnostic areas that include but are not limited to:
  
  
  
  -Mood Disorders (i.e. bipolar, depression)

  -Schizophrenic Disorders
  
  -Other Psychotic Disorders
  
  -Diagnostic testing and treatment for memory concerns (Delirium, normal cognitive decline associated with aging, Dementia)
  
  -Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  
  -Catatonic Disorders
  
  -ADHD Disorders
  
  -PTSD
  
  
  
  Every patient receives education on their diagnosis and any proposed treatments to make informed decisions about their care.
  
  
  
  -Second opinions/medication reviews
  
  
  
  -Supplemental therapy with medication management

  -Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  
  -Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
  
  -Mindfulness teaching and practice
  
  -Strength/Solution based therapy
