Summary
- I am recently graduated, board eligible general surgeon. I completed my residency at the
State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY in June 2018.
Over the last 5 years, I have enjoyed training at a busy surgical program that is a Level I
Trauma center and have been exposed to a range of complex surgical procedures and critically
ill patients. My operative experiences have included from general, vascular, and thoracic
surgery, as well as advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures. During my surgical training, I
have been a member of the departmental surgical quality improvement committee, with a goal
to improve surgical outcomes in the hospital, and an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
instructor. I have had the opportunity to be involved in several research initiatives and have
presented at several local and national meetings. I have also had the pleasure to serve as a
mentor to several medical students attending SUNY Upstate Medical University. I have taken
the American Board of Surgery Qualifying exam this July and plan on sitting for the Certifying
exam this year..
