Summary
- Dr. Javid was born in Washington State and raised in Montana. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, followed by Internship at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and completed an Ophthalmology residency at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. Following residency training he performed his retina fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School, Boston. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been practicing in Tucson since 1999. Dr Javid also takes an active role in training Ophthalmology residents and medical students from the University of Arizona.
He has been the Principal Investigator/Sub-Investigator in over 65 clinical trials. Dr. Javid earned his MBA, Master in Business Administration from the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona.
