  • Clinical FellowUnder the mentorship of Dr. Cynthia Dunbar in the NHLBI, Dr. Duncan generated CAR constructs incorporating the sodium iodide symporter to study CAR-T cell trafficking via PET imaging in xenograft and syngeneic nonhuman primate models. She was an Associate Investigator for two DBA clinical trials.2020 - 2024
  • Postbaccalaureate Cancer Research Training AwardUnder the mentorship of Dr. Terry Fry in the NCI, Dr. Duncan worked with immunocompetent murine models of rhabdomyosarcoma to study the effects of immunomodulatory small molecules in combination with adoptive cell therapies. She also began her work with CAR-T cells in the Fry lab.2010 - 2012
