- Dr. Briana Walton is the Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System - Capital Regional Health. She is recognized as an expert in robotic/minimally invasive surgery and treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Walton received her medical degree, and completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She was invited to be the first fellow in the division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Harvard Medical School/Mount Auburn Hospital. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstruction. In the field of robotics, she has performed 600 UroGyn surgeries and facilitated programmatic growth with an emphasis on quality and safety. Due to her strong commitment to patient advocacy, she was selected to serve as host for Anne Arundel’s monthly hospital television program, DocsTalk. She and her co-host address various health and wellness topics in order to promote and achieve the mission of enhancing the lives of women and their families. Most recently, she has completed a Master’s Program in the Business of Art and Design.
