Summary

• I enjoy seeing patients age 16 and up for psychiatric care and consultation. I also enjoy performing forensic psychiatric evaluations. I am Board Certified in both general and forensic psychiatry.
  
  In 2014 I joined a private practice, Peachtree Psychiatric Professionals, p.c., which has been around for over 20 years. I have also worked as a psychiatrist for the Counseling and Testing Center at Georgia State University since 2006 where I evaluate and treat students of the university, including traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate students. My previous job was Associate Clinical Director of Forensic Psychiatry at Georgia Regional Hospital, where I worked for 11 years. At this facility, I supervised other psychiatrists, assisted with directing the clinical treatment programs, and evaluated and treated patients that have been ordered to go to the hospital by the court. I have testified many times as an expert witness in courtrooms in and around metro Atlanta.
  
  I completed my psychiatry residency and forensic psychiatry fellowship at Emory University. I am on the clinical faculty at Emory University School of Medicine where I teach medical students, residents, and forensic psychiatry fellows. I obtained my bachelor's degree at Brown University and my MD at Ohio State University College of Medicine.
