Dr. Brian Lawenda is a radiation oncologist at Advocate Radiation Oncology, in Venice and Port Charlotte, FL. He received his medical degree from Temple University, Philadelphia and completed his radiation oncology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He specializes in radiation treatment of breast, prostate, head & neck, skin, lung, brain and gastrointestinal cancers and various benign conditions. He is also an integrative oncologist, acupuncturist and functional medicine specialist. Dr. Lawenda proudly served as a U.S. Navy physician for 13 years and attained the rank of Commander.
