Overview of Dr. Capogna
Dr. Capogna’s practice is focused on injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He has specialized training and research interest in sports hernia repair surgery as well as hip arthroscopy to address FAI (femoroacetabular impingement) and labral tears of the hip. In addition, Dr. Capogna performs Tommy John ligament (UCL) reconstruction and the Tommy John ligament repair technique with internal brace. Dr. Capogna also performs common sports medicine procedures including rotator cuff repair, shoulder labrum repair, ACL reconstruction, MPFL reconstruction for patella dislocations, and meniscus surgery.
