Summary

• Hailing from Waterford, PA, my journey began with a humble job delivering newspapers, instilling in me an early sense of responsibility and work ethic. My academic path led me to the University of Missouri to study broadcast journalism, followed by a dynamic career in cable news across Atlanta and New York. However, a deeper calling in healthcare prompted a significant career shift to family medicine.
  
  My pursuit in medicine took me through enriching experiences in Boston and Costa Rica, culminating in extensive medical training at UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University Hospital. In 2021, I realized a long-standing dream by establishing Ember Modern Medicine. This practice is built on a foundation of patient-focused care, eschewing the usual insurance limitations to ensure more meaningful healthcare experiences.
  
  Alongside a rewarding family life with my wife and two daughters, my past involvement in endurance sports has been a significant part of my journey. With over a dozen marathons, an ultramarathon, and an Ironman Triathlon under my belt, these challenging physical pursuits have been immensely gratifying. I channel this same level of commitment and perseverance into providing dedicated care for my patients.
