Overview of Dr. Chancellor
Dr. Chancellor is a Neurointerventionalist specializing in the endovascular treatment of vascular disorders of the brain and spine.
Dr. Chancellor’s practice focuses on patients with brain aneurysms, acute stroke, arteriovenous malformations and fistulas, carotid and intracranial atherosclerotic disease, spinal and facial vascular lesions, pulsatile tinnitus, and brain tumors. She is facile in the latest proven minimally-invasive neurointerventional techniques including flow diversion, transradial angiography, subdural hemorrhage embolization and transvenous stenting.
Dr. Chancellor received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard University where she graduated Cum Laude. She went on to earn her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She also received a Masters of Business Administration from the SC Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Dr. Chancellor completed her residency in Neurology at New York University Langone Medical Center where she was Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Vascular Neurology with a focus on acute stroke and neurocritical care. She is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
Dr. Chancellor completed a two year American Board of Neurological Surgery accredited fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology at New York University Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital.
Dr. Chancellor is an assistant professor at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She has presented internationally on endovascular techniques.
Dr. Chancellor takes joy in helping patients understand their neurovascular condition and is fulfilled by performing elegant procedures that improve neurological function. She provides patient-centered care in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of neurovascular disease in adults and children.
