Bonnie Pete Thomas, M.D
Director of Medical Support Services
Dr Thomas is presently the Director of Medical Support Services at the Near North Health Service Corporation (NNHSC). This role entails the administrative and clinical supervision of all Medical Assisted Therapy (Opioid Addiction Services) staff and Early Intervention Services (HIV Services) staff. He is also a practicing Attending Physician and Internist at Near North (NNHSC). He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Xavier University of Louisiana, and his Medical Degree, from the Chicago Medical School, in Chicago, IL. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Rush University/Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Thomas area of interest is Addictive Medicine (MAT), HIV and Public Health/Preventive Medicine. Dr. Thomas is passionate about Vulnerable populations, particularly Black Men, communities of color that are disportionate impacted by the opioid crisis. He was also featured on CNN’s Blacks in America Part II, Project Brotherhood A Black Man’s Clinic. “The Solutions” as Today’s Pioneer in HealthCare.
