Summary
- After 13 years as a Pediatric Emergency Physician, I became interested in medical cannabis. I am the owner and Medical Director of Canna-Centers Wellness & Education since 2008 and have treated over 18,000 patients using cannabinoid-based medicines. I specialize in drug-resistant epilepsy, severe autism, chronic pain and other refractory conditions. I authored two books on medical cannabis - Cannabis Revealed (2016) and Cannabis is Medicine (2020). I've published a number of articles (with Cannformatics) documenting the objective response of children with autism to cannabinoid treatment using pharmacometabolomics and machine learning.
