• Bobby Mathews, MPAS, PA-C has been a Physician Assistant at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2008. In 2002, Bobby received his B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from SUNY Stony Brook, and then went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009. As a Physician Assistant, Mr. Mathews has much experience working in Emergency Medicine at both Winthrop University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Bobby has also spent much of his time doing volunteer work for the Garden City Park Fire Department. Bobby is an active member of the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, the New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In addition, he is currently a sub-investigator with two breast reconstruction clinical trials.
