Summary
- I am a board certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery and robotic techniques. I successfully completed my surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati and sub-specialized in minimally invasive and robotic surgery at the University of Texas in Houston at the Texas Medical Center. I am passionate about minimally invasive surgery and believe wholeheartedly that the use of minimally invasive techniques decreases pain, decreases recovery time, and improves patient function after surgery.
I am on faculty in the department of surgery at the University of Cincinnati--one of the oldest and historic surgery departments in the US.
My primary practice includes metabolic and bartiatric surgery, complex intestinal surgery, foregut surgery (including GERD and hiatal hernia), and abdominal wall hernia/complex abdominal wall reconstruction.
I work out of the UC Health weight loss center as well as the Medical Arts Building in Clifton.
I perform operations at West Chester Hospital, University Hospital, and The Christ Hospital.
