Summary
- As a resident at UTHealth Houston, I am passionate about providing patient-centered medicine and advancing my knowledge and skills in Internal Medicine. I have contributed to multiple case reports with medical students, demonstrating my ability to collaborate, communicate, and educate effectively. I have also participated in quality improvement projects, applying my analytical and problem-solving skills to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
My interest in medicine and education stems from my academic background and experiences. I graduated from McGovern Medical School with a MD degree in May 2021, and from Texas A&M University with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Biology in May 2017. I was part of the Joint Admissions Medical Program, which provided me with summer internships and mentorship from medical students. I am looking for an academic position that combines hospital and outpatient medicine, and that emphasizes education for general internists. I am empathetic, dedicated, and motivated to pursue excellence in my field.
