Summary
- I am an AP/CP board certified pathologist with subspecialty board certification in Molecular Genetic Pathology and Blood Banking/Transfusion medicine. Recent anatomic pathology experience was in a regional cancer center with extensive GYN/onc, GI, breast, pulmonary, and urologic tumor cases, numerous frozen sections and deep site cytopathology FNAs with remote onsite adequacy assessment (ROSE for EUS, EBUS, FNAs etc). I have worked with multidisciplinary technical teams to instrument and validate new assays, both in molecular pathology (massArray, FISH, PCR, etc) and in the general clinical laboratory (Phadia ImmunoCap allergy testing; Grifols automated ANA IFA; Sebia CE systems; screening EIA and Mass Spec confirmatory toxicology assays). I also have experience as director of blood donor services in a collection facility, transfusion service serving multiple hospitals, molecular pathology laboratory, and general laboratory director.
