Summary

• After completing my residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California San Francisco in 2007, I was honored to serve in the United States Air Force at Travis Air Force Base, California as Medical Director and Deputy Flight Commander for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon completion of my active duty service commitment in 2011, I was recruited to develop the OBGYN Hospitalist program for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. During my 3 years of leadership with this program our team launched and optimized a robust OBGYN Hospitalist program for the Diablo Service Area that became a regional and national model for OBGYN Hospitalist care. In 2013, I was then recruited by the University of Colorado, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, to my current role as an OBGYN Hospitalist at Children's Hospital Colorado to create and develop the Maternal Fetal Care Unit’s OB Hospitalist program. Over the past 5 years, we have built a thriving and cutting edge Maternal Fetal Care program that serves as a national referral site for complex maternal fetal care patients. Optimizing “whole person” focused patient care and outcomes, leading medical research, and unit team development strategies are my passion and professional goals.
