Summary
- Hello, I'm Bianca! I'm an MD-MPH candidate applying to psychiatry residency programs with the goal of becoming a child and adolescent psychiatrist. I have a passion for working with underserved communities, as well as addressing societal inequities, particularly those affecting youth of color. I am a practitioner of trauma informed care, and have done research on the effects of trauma experiences in youth, among many other research experiences. One of the accomplishments I'm most proud of is receiving the 2021 US Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Award, in recognition of my commitment to and for providing educational equity and mental health access to youth of color.
