Summary

• I am currently a dermatology resident at Duke University, completing my residency summer of 2019. I am what they call a Blue Devil "lifer," having done my undergraduate, medical school, and internship at Duke University. I also took an extra year during medical school to complete a Masters in Clinical Research with a capstone project reviewing our institution's experience in malignant melanoma.
  
  I am interested in medical and cosmetic dermatology, in particular issues in ethnic skin. I have sought additional experiences in cosmetic dermatology to expand upon our already well-rounded and hands-on experiences at Duke, including a mentored elective with Dr. Tina Alster in Washington, D.C.
  
  My husband and I are originally from Beaverton, Oregon where our families still reside. I ran track and cross country at Southridge High School, receiving Athlete of the Year and Coaches' Awards. We enjoy traveling, cooking, and spoiling our two tabby cats. We plan to return to the Portland area to be with our parents, siblings, and nieces after residency.
  
  I am interested in connecting with private dermatology practices in the greater Portland area to discuss whether I would be able to contribute to the growth of their practice.
