Summary
- Welcome to my page, I'm excited to have your here and would like to tell you a little about myself.
I was born in the USA and raised in Brazil. I graduated from Medicine School, residency, Knee Surgery and my PhD, in the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Back to the USA I continued my training in sports medicine at the University of Missouri, Kaiser Permanente San Diego and BWH and MGH/Harvard.
With that extensive training, I learned many different technical approaches to solve both routine and more difficult surgeries, with excellent mentors, to bring you world class care. By combining my surgical technical skills with my younger years as a competitive athlete in track and field and in basketball, I work to understand my patients' expectations so we can formulate a plan together that fits them best with the goal of returning to their favorite sports activities. For those not engaged in competitive sports, our goals are aligned to get you back to your activities and feeling yourself!
