Summary
- I am a board-certified hematologist with a focus on disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis and their impact on women, girls and people with the potential to menstruate (WGPPM) or become pregnant. I am a clinical/translational researcher who is investigating the role of various coagulation factors in reestablishing uterine hemostasis after menses. I am passionate about educating trainees, physicians, my patients and the general public about what is normal and not normal and what can be done about it when it comes to menstruation.
